CommitFit ("we", "us", "our") is operated by CommitFit, trading as CommitFit. CommitFit is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

2. Personal data we collect

• Account data — name, email address, login credentials.
• Fitness profile — goals, experience level, schedule, equipment, injuries, and stake amount you provide during onboarding.
• Usage data — workouts logged, food entries, streaks, completed and missed sessions.
• Support messages — anything you send us.
• Device and telemetry — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, error logs.

3. How we use it

• To create and operate your account.
• To generate AI workout plans and personalized accountability features.
• To process subscription purchases (handled by Paddle).
• To secure the service, prevent fraud, and detect abuse.
• To improve the product based on aggregated usage.
• To respond to support requests.

4. Legal basis

We process your data to perform our contract with you (account and service delivery), based on our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), with your consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies), and to comply with our legal obligations.

5. Who we share data with

• Paddle.com Market Ltd — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payments, billing, tax, invoicing, refunds, and subscription management on our behalf and as a separate controller for those activities.
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers — for hosting the app, database, and AI inference.
• Analytics and error monitoring providers — to keep the service reliable.
• Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers where strictly necessary.
• Authorities — where required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as you have an account, and for a short period afterwards to satisfy legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email support@commitfit.life. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside the country you live in. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least- privilege administration — to protect your data.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies required to operate the app and keep you signed in. We may also use limited analytics cookies to measure performance.
